Have you ever had a Thick Burger?

It wasn't until last week that I experienced my first "real" hamburger. I know, the critics will say that Wendy's has a good burger, or some may still love the Big Mac. Hey, I used to love the Whopper....but no more. I have found my mecca.

Hardee's isn't your typical fast food restaurant. Not only is the food made fresh, they have no heat lamps, but the service is good and the place is clean. Hardee's is also launching another product called, Red Burrito. It is high quality Mexican food served fast, inside of some Hardee's stores. The closest Red Burrito is in Terre Haute, but I heard that they are coming to Indy in 2007. (watch out Taco Bell and Q-Doba...they are coming for you.) And if their Big Burrito is anything like the Hardee's number 6 I purchased on Saturday (sourdough bacon cheeseburger) they better be afraid.

If you haven't been to a Hardee's in a while, I suggest you stop in soon. Let me know what you thought....I know I'm going back!

Pals...

What makes a Pal? First I think we should look into the origin of the word. Webster says it comes from Roman times and means: brother/friend. Now, anyone can have a friend, some of even have good friends, but few of us have Pals.

You see, a Pal is there to the end. Through thick and thin, a Pal stands besides you, and you beside them. My Pal once was going to fight 3 guys after I accosted them while we were coming out of a bar, and I was is no shape to fight. Heck, my Pal even raided the laundry room with me and put a bra on his head for no reason other than I thought it would be funny. And even though a friend may do all those things, when a friendship goes bad, its usually over. But when Pals have a falling out, its the brotherhood part of the meaning that allows them to return to each other. Welcome back Dan!
